Allstar Camper Hire is a 4WD camper company based in Perth, Western Australia. On CampervanPlanet it offers one camper, the 4WD Rooftop Camper 5 Person: a Toyota Hilux dual cab built and maintained in its own Perth workshop for remote-area travel, with two double rooftop tents, an automatic gearbox and a 2.8-litre turbo diesel engine.
The camper has five seats and sleeps four in the two rooftop tents; a fifth adult can use the optional dome swag tent on the ground. It carries a 60-litre ARB fridge, an 84-litre water tank with a cold shower, a gas stove, a Weber Q barbecue, a full kitchen box, a table and chairs, a 270° awning and solar-charged lithium batteries for camping off-grid. There is no toilet, but a chemical camp toilet can be added.

A Toyota Hilux dual cab 4WD with a 2.8-litre turbo diesel engine, automatic gearbox, a 140-litre long-range fuel tank, heavy-duty suspension and off-road tyres. Two double rooftop tents with mattresses (a hard-shell tent at the rear and a soft-shell tent at the front) sleep four, and a fifth adult can use the optional dome swag tent. A 60-litre ARB fridge, an 84-litre water tank with a cold shower, a gas stove, a Weber Q barbecue with two gas bottles, a kitchen box, a table and chairs, a 270° awning and 200Ah lithium batteries with solar charging. For safety: an emergency GPS beacon, a first aid kit, a fire extinguisher, an air compressor, sand recovery tracks, a tow strap, a shovel and two spare tyres. No toilet.
Allstar has three depots. Perth: 1 Vale Street, Malaga, open Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 16:00. Broome: 95 Guy Street, by appointment only. Darwin: 35 Edelsten Road, Howard Springs, by appointment only. One-way rentals between the depots have no fee but need a minimum hire: 15 days between Perth and Broome or Broome and Darwin, and 25 days between Perth and Darwin.
Unlimited kilometres, free additional drivers, RAC roadside assistance, bedding and a full kitchen kit. The 4WD recovery gear and two spare tyres come with every camper.
Allstar holds no bond. The standard damage excess is AUD 7,000; Careful Camper (AUD 49 a day) lowers it to AUD 3,000 and Safety Sam (AUD 69 a day) to AUD 1,000.
Off-road and beach driving are allowed. K'gari (Fraser Island), the Canning Stock Route, the Simpson Desert, Arnhem Land, the Gunbarrel Highway and driving below the tide line are excluded, and water crossings are limited to 500 mm.
