All 140+ Rental Brands

We've spent years test-driving, comparing, and vetting the world's campervan and motorhome rental companies so you don't have to. From tiny local outfits in Iceland to global fleets in Australia , New Zealand , and the USA — these are the 140+ brands we trust enough to list on CampervanPlanet.
Out of 140+ companies, these two keep showing up at the top of our team's notebooks. Here's why.
"Nobody else has 130 depots. If you want to fly into Denver, road-trip Utah's Mighty 5, and drop the RV in Las Vegas, Cruise America is the only brand that makes the logistics painless. Their Standard C25 is basic but bulletproof, we've sent hundreds of customers and the feedback is consistent."
"If your trip crosses three European borders, McRent is almost always the answer. 80+ stations from Lisbon to Helsinki, modern Knaus and Sunlight motorhomes, and pick-up-here / drop-off-there without the usual one-way fee shock. The brand our German customers trust most."

Every brand on CampervanPlanet goes through a manual vetting process: we verify their fleet, read at least 200 recent customer reviews, check insurance and roadside-assistance policies, and, whenever possible, send someone to the depot. Brands with systematic complaints about hidden fees, late deliveries, or damage-deposit abuse don't make the cut, no matter how big their marketing budget is.
No. We have a best-price guarantee with every brand we list, the price you see on CampervanPlanet is the same as (or lower than) the brand's own website. On top of that, you get a single point of contact for questions, free cancellation on most bookings, and no currency-conversion surprises at checkout.
Every brand on the list runs its own 24/7 roadside assistance, that's non-negotiable to be listed. On top of that, CampervanPlanet's customer support team is reachable by email and WhatsApp throughout your trip. If something goes sideways, message us and we'll escalate directly with the rental company's operations team, usually within the hour.
Most brands in Iceland, New Zealand, and Europe include unlimited mileage in the base rate. In Australia, the USA, and Canada, unlimited mileage is usually an add-on because of the distances involved, expect to pay extra per kilometre after 100 km/day. Every brand includes basic CDW insurance, but the deductible varies from €0 to €5,000, so always check the excess before booking.
Yes, but rules vary. In Europe, McRent, Indie Campers, and Roadsurfer allow cross-border one-ways between most EU countries for a flat fee (usually €150–€500). In Australia and New Zealand, Apollo, Britz, Maui, and Jucy offer relocations that can cost as little as $1/day in the low season. In North America, Cruise America runs the largest one-way network with 130+ depots across the US and Canada.
Most brands require drivers to be at least 21 years old with a valid licence held for at least one year. Some premium motorhome classes require 25+. In Iceland, the minimum is usually 20 for 2WD and 23 for 4WD. A young-driver surcharge (€5–€15/day) often applies for drivers under 25. We list each brand's exact policy on its detail page.
