About Adventure 4WD Hire

Adventure 4WD Hire is an Australian 4WD camper company for travellers heading into the outback. Its two campers are Toyota 4WDs with high and low range, all-terrain tyres, a snorkel and a long-range diesel tank, and both sleep two people in a hard-shell rooftop tent. Swags can be added for more travellers. Adventure 4WD Hire is a different company from Adventure Rentals.

The Toyota Prado 4WD Camper is a Prado 150 Series with a 180° awning and a dual battery system with a solar panel for the fridge. The Toyota Hilux 4WD Camper is a 2025 dual cab with an aluminium canopy, a 48V hybrid turbo diesel, a 270° awning, a 200Ah lithium battery with an inverter, a Nespresso machine and Starlink Wi-Fi at no extra cost. Both come with linen, towels, pillows, sleeping bags, a full cooking kit, a 4WD recovery kit, an air compressor and an emergency locator beacon. Neither has a shower or toilet.

Adventure 4WD Hire picks up in Perth, Darwin, Broome and Cairns, and Alice Springs is on request. Both campers sleep in rooftop tents, which our Australia campervan price study does not count, so this page has no price section; you can check prices for your dates in our search.
